Blended First Aid

What is a blended course?

Blended learning courses include an online portion and a hands-on session. The online portion provides the flexibility of completing training at your own pace, either at work, home, or wherever you have Internet access. The hands-on portion includes a skills practice and testing session conducted in person with a certified instructor.

First Aid Online has been updated to reflect new science from the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC and the 2020 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid. This course covers first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

First Aid Online is the eLearning portion of the HSI First Aid Blended Learning Course and teaches information needed for first aid training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session with a certified instructor.
