CPR & AED
The HSI CPR with AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and the use of an AED. Students also learn to give first aid for choking in a responsive victim. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign body airway obstruction.

Target Audience:
Designed for employee training at companies, corporations, businesses or other entities. For employees and/or designated first responders who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
Written Exam / Skills Testing for completion: Skills testing with Certified Instructor during course. (No written exam.)
Card Type/Certification by HSI: Health & Safety Institute (HSI) CPR & AED course completion card. Valid for a period of 2 years from date of successful completion
